Christmas lights are one the most iconic aspects of the holiday season. In light of that fact, one Plano local known for their Christmas lights display has come out of retirement to put on a show for his neighbors according to a CBS DFW 21 article published on November 30th. In it they say:
“ For years, the Westridge Light Show was known as one of the best displays in Plano. Its creator is now coming out of retirement in order to bring his neighbors some joy during the pandemic. The inflatables, Christmas trees and 70,000 LED lights are synched with Christmas music on his very own radio station. It’s a lot of work, but for Jim Beckham it’s worth it.”
What Mr. Beckham is doing is incredibly admirable, though maybe you want a couple more options. The Dallas Morning News released an article with a list of must-see Christmas Lights in the Plano area on December 7th. In it they say:
“From neighborhoods to shopping centers, there is no shortage of beautiful Christmas light displays in Plano. Touring the holiday light displays in the city is a time-honored tradition that’s also safe during the ongoing pandemic as most of the sights can be taken in from the comfort of your family’s vehicle.”
