Cosmetic dentistry offers several procedures to help you get a perfect smile. Veneers are a common and effective procedure that can help you get the smile you deserve.

What Are Veneers?

Veneers are custom-made, wafer-thin shells designed to fully cover your teeth to help you get a perfect smile. They are made of materials that resemble your natural teeth to make sure they don’t look unattractive or unreal.

Veneers can be be used to change the size, length, color or shape of your teeth. Usually made of resin or porcelain.

When Might I Consider Veneers?

Veneers can help cover imperfects such as:
  • Discolored teeth
  • Worn down teeth
  • Ireegularly shaped teeth
  • Uneven or poorly aligned teeth
  • Broken or chipped teeth
All in all, veneers can be opted for if you have an imperfect smile.

What is the Procedure?

The procedure is completely pain-free and can be completed in two to three sittings. Our dentist will examine your teeth to ensure you can be a candidate for dental veneers. While they are suitable for all kinds of patients, in some cases other cosmetic procedures, such as teeth whitening, may be suggested.

In the next sitting, our dentist will take x-rays and impressions of your teeth to prepare a veneer, which will be ready in about a week. We’ll also remove about 0.5 mm of enamel from the surface of the tooth to ensure the veneer fits properly. It covers the front of the tooth and is bonded with the help of a special bonding agent.
